Filtration
Self-Cleaning Universal Strainers & Filter Bag Housing
FBH is made of stainless steel vessel employing a unique vane/brush mechanism that continuously cleans stainless steel micronic screens to prevent plugging. The pressure drop across the strainer with 75–100 micron screen is less than 1 psid (6.9 kPad) at rated flows. The strainer is designed to meet a wide range of HVAC-R applications including ASME certified materials. Processed waste water enters tangentially at the top of the strainer, impacting on a set of interior vanes attached to a floating vane/brush connected to a rotating stem, with the brushes scouring the internal face of the micronic screen. This action also breaks the surface tension of the screen to prevent plugging by contaminants.
